Achieved Success in College

The lecture level is the first level of learning how we can actively contribute to society.

The author himself finally managed to graduate from Padjadjaran University after 5.5 years. The journey that may be for some people is too long, but for some people who do not complete this trip, it is an achievement in itself. For those of you who are just about to enter the university level, there are several principles that you must understand.

This principle, if you understand it well and correctly, will bring all of your friends to be successful when you go to college later

1. It's all about time management

In college, the author often attended motivational seminars given by someone who had made a lot of achievements, both at home and abroad. One thing they say is how important time is in achieving their success. Time is also the most basic thing for you to understand when entering the college level. Time is what makes an important difference in a person's success during college. The author is not able to define the time during college, so it took 5.5 years to be able to complete everything. The simple things you will find in college are, there are so many assignments, and given deadlines that seem like a long time. The trick here is, assigned tasks must be done without delay. Believe it or not, believe it, time that seems so long, it might run out without us understanding it. The writer also experienced this when he was in college. When given an assignment, and given a long deadline, the writer is lulled into just playing without doing these responsibilities. One other important thing is, no one reminds you to do the task. If you have friends who want to remind you, be grateful, because the lecturer won't do that. Your time to graduate is also determined by yourself, not like when we took high school or junior high school where there was already a time limit for graduating. Because time is very valuable at the college level, starting from now, let's look at the time you spend in a day. Set aside time for you to study and also do assignments, then set aside time to play too.

2. Dare to ask

This is the most dangerous time when the lecturer finishes explaining and is given time to ask questions. The author himself feels that when he feels confused that the author should ask, the writer abandons the intention, and often the author is increasingly ignorant of the lessons given afterward. The older we get, the less we want to ask questions. Friends have also felt, maybe when we were little, many of the questions we asked parents or other adults. We try to find out, at any risk. The older we get, the less we want to look stupid. All our questions are buried, and often we won't get the answers we want. The writer's ignorance about asking questions made the writer feel that it was okay with the writer's attitude at that time. For friends who are starting to enter college level, the author wants to tell you that, it is better to look temporarily stupid than to look smart but do not know anything.

3. Game mentality: win every time you can

I like playing games, call it mobile legend, pubg mobile, Dota 2, and many more. When the author plays the game Dota 2, for example, the author can spend about 5 hours a day, to be satisfied and then rest. How can I survive 5 hours playing Dota is a question that I only know the answer to when I have finished all these lectures. The writer wants to feel the beauty of victory. I forget that I can think of college as a game, where every time there is a challenge. The challenge can be anything, such as memorizing animal names or making a summary of the course that has just been explained. When the writer considers this a game, then when the writer finishes it, the writer will feel a victory and don't forget to give yourself a prize for completing the challenge. Make your friends' college days an enjoyable one. Always challenge yourself so you can always win, and become the best person at the university of your choice
